On the Ukrainian market there are new buses for our consumers, but already popular in a number of countries of the brand Oghab. These are modern models that have recently undergone a complete cycle of tests and meet the environmental standards of Euro 5 and Euro 6, as well as European standards of quality ISO.
All buses manufactured by Oghab Afshan Industrial Manufacturing Co. made on the basis of units and assemblies of one of the leading European manufacturers of commercial automotive equipment – Scania AB. Important competitive advantages of these buses: competitive price and short, in comparison with other manufacturers, the timing of the production of ordered models.
Conqueror of distant tracks
This year, the new intercity bus Oghab Maral was introduced on the Ukrainian market. This model, unlike the previous one, has a slightly longer length of 12.64 m, but the number of seats (44 + 1 + 1) has not changed, which has positively influenced the comfort for passengers.
The Scania DC13-151 engine (12.74 liters) now conforms to the Euro 5 standard, which is achieved through the SCR system. Compared to the predecessor, it has more power – 407 pc. and torque – 2164 Nanometers. Transmission – robotic, 8-speed.
Opticruise, which used to be an option, has now become standard. As you know, it controls the distance to the car moving in front – and with a dangerous approach to it automatically switches on the braking system.
The manufacturer offers a large set of options to standard equipment and different color options. In particular, these are very popular combination colors with the use of corporate symbolism – “Falcon in flight”.
Worker of city streets
The new developments of Oghabt also include the Arian highway passenger bus. In a car, with a total length of 14.8 m comfortable accommodating 47 seated passengers, in addition there is 51 seat for standing and a seat for one wheelchair. This is a low floor model, built on a Scania SUV type chassis with a 6x2 wheel formula. In this case, two axes are controlled.
Engine with a capacity of 310 hp. is installed in the rear of the bus longitudinally, behind the rear axle. It is aggregated with the classic ZF automatic transmission, which has more advantages over urban conditions than robotized.
Oghab also offers buses with CNG-powered Euro 6 engines to operate in cities.
Oghab buses can traditionally be fitted with a hydraulic brake retarder. The use of this option improves traffic safety and increases the life of disc brakes more than once.
The list of bus safety systems includes ABS, Traction Control, electronic stabilization system and bus emergency braking system. The suspension is pneumatic, with the option of changing the clearance, which provides lowering the floor level at the stops for the convenience of entry-exit passengers.
The bus is standard equipped with three passenger doors. And the version for work at the airport is equipped already with five doors – on both sides of the bus. Additionally, a ramp for a wheelchair is installed.
The advanced Oghab manufacturing technology guarantees the design of the body and its high anti-corrosion protection. The front and rear masks of the bus, as well as the roof panel, are made of plastic. The new design of the cladding draws attention. It is also worth noting the efficient cabin heater and air conditioning system.
